It’s been a few days since Hurricane Ian left us with some water to clean up! The Board called a meeting to provide some updates to the owners who stayed for the storm.

In short, following some fires that happened six months prior, we increased our Association’s insurance policy. As a result, the new coverage came with an emergency response team called SouthernCAT USA who is here to help restore our community.

We already have thirty employees here doing work, and are expecting fifty more tomorrow. They are rebuilding our roofs and assessing internal damage caused by Hurricane Ian. There’s a chance we’ll even have electricity/power restored today, but no word on restoring the water (our bath tub is getting low).

Whelp, this explains the equipment that was dropped off in front of our front door a couple of days ago:

(1) Phoenix R250 LGR Dehumidifier
(1) Phoenix Guardian HEPA Air Scrubber

Definitely a good sign that power will be restored soon!
